Colossal Sanders:
Hi there! I’m David Holub (aka Colossal Sanders). The work you find here I create and produce with 100 percent pure, all-natural joy from my in-house factory in N. Ferrisburgh, VT. My goal is to bring a bit of that joy to you.. I’ve been a writer, graphic designer, and/or teacher since the late 1900s, before morphing into a full-time visual artist in 2018.
Em & Friends:
At Em & Friends, we want you to feel truly seen, heard, and connected to the people you love—including yourself!—in good times, crazy times, and really freaking hard times. (Especially those times.) We make cards and products for the relationships people really have and the lives we really lead: relationships and lives that are messy and beautiful, tricky and wonderful, and a whole bunch of everything else in between.
We may be best-known for our Empathy Cards, a more honest and supportive alternative to traditional, platitude-filled sympathy and get-well messages. Life’s toughest times are when we need connection the most, but the cruel irony is that most of us simply don’t know what to say. We specialize in removing the agony of the blank page, and helping folks find words of support that sound like something they’d actually write.
Originally founded in 2012 by writer and illustrator Emily McDowell, we joined forces in 2018 with the kindred spirits at Knock Knock, uniting as two sister brands under one kickass umbrella, and evolving our work into a collaborative team creation. In 2019, we added “Friends” to our name and our products, adding artists and authors like Lisa Congdon and Elizabeth Gilbert. And, in 2022, along with Knock Knock, we joined the Union Square & Co. family, and our founder Emily McDowell moved on to new challenges. But no matter how we evolve, our goal remains the same: to help people feel more connected and less alone.*
*Except, possibly, in a nice hot bath at the end of a long week… with the door locked… and maybe some cake?

We believe everyday creativity can be a vehicle for generating positive change in the world. We believe in embracing the adventure, and savoring every moment.
Our Story
We are a women-owned and operated small business based in Indiana. Our story started when printmaker and illustrator Rachel Kroh was inspired to hand-carve woodblocks and print them to make cards after she had trouble finding the kind of warm, sincere designs she wanted to send to her mom who was diagnosed with cancer in 2012. Since then we have grown to a team of seven and today we are grateful to have the privilege of sending our handmade cards and gifts all over North America and Europe.
Our Products
Heartell Press letterpress greeting cards are printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper using an antique press with hand-carved wood blocks. The Indigo and offset printed cards and prints are designed in the same way with hand-carved blocks and then reproduced on recycled paper using HP Indigo and offset presses to create rich, matte images. Our Generous Kitchen Towels and Sponge Cloths are dyed with non-toxic pigments and screenprinted with water-based inks.

Idlewild Co.:
Our mission is driven by a passion for unique, artisanal-quality products that offer a breath of fresh air in today’s gift market. We aim to produce a distinctly graphic line of covetable goods with an independent flair; a fun & fresh alternative to correspondence of yore.
A few shoppers noticed her whimsically hand-painted Brooklyn neighborhood prints and asked if Katie would create wedding stationery based on the artwork- and shortly thereafter she was working on her first commissioned invitations. With a robust collection of hand-painted wedding suites under her belt, she expanded her work into a line of greeting cards and hand-bound notebooks that debuted at the National Stationery Show.
In a few short years the brand has established itself as a go-to independent source for creative gift products. In 2013 Idlewild Co. relocated to the sunny shores of Vero Beach, Florida, where the team operates from today.
Iris Atelier:
Chicago based designer and maker, Megan, works in her West Town atelier to create every piece by hand.
Megan started by studying costume production in college in Milwaukee, WI. After Graduating she moved to Chicago where she got a job in a high end bridal shop, and on the side, started selling bridal accessories on Etsy, where it grew into headbands and more!
Today Megan puts all her time and effort into her business.
Jess Weymouth:
Jessica Weymouth is a 27 year old Long Beach, California based Watercolor and Illustration artist who combines the natural with the otherworldly to create dynamic, thought-provoking work. Currently focusing much of her work within the celestial spaces, lunar cycles, and natural elements of our planet - her work can be described as Dreamscape Surrealism, oftentimes incorporating healing elements as well as conservation storylines inspired by her studies in Environmental Science and Ecology. More than an artist, Jessica wants to be a female who empowers -through example- other women to chase their calling, and fiercely pursue their passions. She has a keen heart for nature, the cosmos, the wonderfully vast sea and all the beautiful creatures that spin with this orbital planet - and she loves putting these elements into new light and allowing them to be seen from her perspective. Her hope is to bring awareness to the beauty and to motivate protection of our natural resources, as well as simply bring joy and inspiration through her work.
Weymouth developed a particular interest in solar systems and galaxies as she found herself being hummed to sleep by the sound of our Mother Ocean and the movement of Her tides. She quickly became fascinated with the relation of our moon to our vast bodies of Water, and how the waning phases affect humanity — not only physically but also emotionally - as well as the chemistry behind our human nature and Mother Nature, how we influence one another in this orbit called life. Weymouth hopes to bring forth unique perspectives on nature and to inspire a subtle shift of nurture towards our Mother.
La Familia Green:
La Familia Green is an eco-friendly company.
All La Familia Green products begin in my Chicago studio as an original drawing, print, or collage. Cards and prints are printed by Catprint in Rochester, NY.
A little about me...I grew up among the dusty tumbleweeds of Lubbock, Texas. And after moving to the Midwest in high school, I completed a BFA in painting and printmaking at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Graduation forced the lesson of how to live and work as an artist—that meant retail by day, artist by night. Attempting to integrate retail skills with artistic training and a love of multiples led to the birth of La Familia Green in 2005. I am a fourth generation small business owner. I love the immediacy and intimacy of cards. You buy a card, write a note and send it out into the world. I never know how many people will experience - hold, use, enjoy - my work. I also love that I can easily and quickly express my interests through this medium. As new card ideas come to me, I jot them down in notes app.
Running and rescue pets are my passions. I donate 10% a month back to local charities. I am also proud to be vegan - so keep in mind that all of those corndogs and nachos in my work are plant based! ;)
My studio is located in the Greenleaf Art Center on the far north side of Chicago. My dogs Zuzu and Stickers greet visitors at the door.
Thanks for stopping by,
Mollie Green
Lisa Congdon Art and Illustration:
Lisa Congdon an internationally known fine artist, illustrator and writer. She makes art for clients around the globe, including Target, Amazon, Google, Warby Parker, Method, Comme des Garcons, REI and MoMA, among many others. She is the author of ten books, including Art Inc: The Essential Guide to Building Your Career as an Artist and Find your Artistic Voice: The Essential Guide to Working Your Creative Magic. She is the host of the podcast The Lisa Congdon Sessions and cofounder of The Long Table Foundation.
Lisa is self-taught and didn’t achieve momentum in her career until she was nearly 40 years old. Despite her untraditional path, Lisa has achieved recognition, not just as an artist, but as a leader in the industry for her work in social justice, knowledge sharing, mentoring and teaching. In March of 2021, she was named “One of the 50 Most Inspiring People and Companies According to Industry Creatives” published by AdWeek. She lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
Microcosm Publishing:
Microcosm Publishing is a fiercely independent publisher and distributor that empowers readers to make positive changes in their lives, their communities, and their world. Our books and zines focus on subjects like gender, self-care, mental health, bicycle culture, punk rock, radical politics, witchcraft, social justice, bodily autonomy, and a community-focused DIY ethos. We built a successful book business by celebrating all the things that mainstream publishing deems too niche or incendiary to take on—and we're growing all the time, thanks to people like you! We also create stickers, pins, patches, card decks, and other unique products to help you express yourself, explore your relationships, and expand your horizons. We began in Cleveland, OH in 1996 and now based out of Cleveland and Portland, OR.
In the beginning, we set out to save ourselves from not caring. But out here in the margins, we found inspiration in countless folks and communities who make us want to do more, and better. We've professionalized a little from our punk roots (where once we had zines in a milk crate, we now have warehouses), but Microcosm is still fueled by the dream of a better world, motivating us to share the resource we need to get started building it, right now, together.

Through collaborations spanning museums, movies, kitchenware, and coffee brands, Ayca Kilicoglu loves bringing joy and vibrant prints to life.
Noble Objects:
Our literary candles are an homage to celebrated works of classic literature. The fragrance is inspired by the book. The label tells the story behind it. First edition covers convey a poignant message: that your favorite book has been read for centuries, inspiring generation after generation. This is what it looked like back when our ancestors were turning the pages.
All of our candles are hand-crafted in our Santa Monica studio, using natural soy wax and fragrances, creating scents with a love for classics. Like many small businesses, we started in our living room. Like many business owners in 2020, we had to search for another work passion in life after being unable to continue what we were doing before.
We are ballet producers - fun, right? Well, not in 2020. We think that you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their bookshelf. And we just love the look of antique book covers. And who doesn’t love candles? Noble Objects literary candles are a fun way to show off literacy, bring back childhood memories through the book, and gift an acknowledgment of someone’s wisdom. We are still learning. We love every day of it. Every one of you, our customers, made this into an extraordinary journey for us. We are adding new titles, developing new smells, taking pride in what we do, how we do it, and why. Keep reading!
Nooworks:
Hello and welcome to Nooworks. We’re a small women-owned and operated clothing brand based in sunny California. The clothes we produce are wildly fun, quirky, cute, and sometimes totally over the top, and we love it! We started out in Jennifer D’Angelo’s San Francisco apartment back in 2005, where she silk screened her artwork onto t-shirts. Nooworks grew organically over the years as Jen began to work with different artist friends and expand her offerings of printed clothing. Today, our textiles are printed at one of the few industrial rotary printing facilities in Los Angeles. Each year we collaborate with a new variety of awesome, independent artists to produce an exciting assortment of limited edition, serotonin boosting textiles. All of our clothing patterns are thoughtfully designed and cut to compliment as many bodies as possible.
We manufacture 100% of our products right here in California. Nooworks is a small but mighty team of 14 employees. We are an independently operated business and have never taken money from outside investors. We have two storefronts in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and a shipping warehouse in Berkeley, CA. Almost all of our fabrics are milled and printed in Los Angeles, and we work with a small factory in Oakland, CA where our fabric is cut and sewn into the Nooworks pieces you love. We work with incredibly nice people and value our relationships. As a company, we are steadfast in our commitment to do business in ethical and transparent ways that put people and the planet first. We are constantly growing, learning, and adapting, but we’re excited to share with you some the of steps we’ve taken to care for our planet and our people.
Offensive Delightful:
I am so proud of what i do, and try my best for all my customers. Almost 20 years in business, proud as hell!!!! As a single mom, a designer, an immigrant, an artist, I can hardly believe that i got lucky enough to have created OffensiveDelightful. The cards are an expression of me, so I don't hold back. Say what you mean, mean what you say... but keep it funny and cool! We are a small family business, based in Los Angeles, CA. Products Made in USA. Women Owned.
Party Mountain:
We’re a small but mighty team of three based in Hamilton, ON, specializing in witty, colourful, and thoughtfully designed cards for the pop culture lover in your life!

We're endlessly inspired by pop culture, nostalgia, and retro design. We’re all about making life’s special milestones even more unforgettable! Made in Canada.
The Peach Fuzz:
The goal of The Peach Fuzz is to make activism accessible and fun, giving you colorful ways to raise your voice and make participation in a movement as easy as putting a sticker on your water bottle. Of course, activism is much more than just a sticker, but we've all gotta start somewhere! I want you to be empowered to stand up for what you believe in, and do it all with a little creativity and a lot of sass. The issues we are facing in the realms of racism, sexism, climate change, mental health, and politics in general are devastating and honestly it is often all so overwhelming. Art has given me an outlet to scream at the top of my lungs “YOU SHOULD REALLY CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO OTHER PEOPLE” but in a way that is playful and optimistic and life-affirming and ultimately invites as many as possible to join our cause. In the words of Toni Cade Bambarayou, "The role of the artist is to make the revolution irresistible" and that's exactly what I'm out to do.
Women owned, LGBTQ+ Owned. Based in San Francisco, CA. Products made in the USA.
Prime Cut Bags:
Primecut bags are handcrafted in our Portland, Oregon workshop. Each bag is carefully constructed, taking into account the unique properties of the materials used.
Founded in 2013, deep in the confines of her basement, Lizzie began experimenting with leather bags. She was intrigued by the diversity and unique properties of hair-on-hide. Using her mother’s old Pfaff sewing machine along with an old Yamata industrial machine, she experimented with different leathers, sizes, proportions, and manufacturing techniques.
In 2017, Lizzie moved from her basement to Primecut’s current Studio. Since 2013, she has upgraded her manufacturing to include new machines, employees, and a light-filled production studio.
Our process begins with carefully sourcing cowhides and shearling from tanneries throughout the world. Each material is selected based on its quality, weight, and durability. Speaking to the nature of the material we love curating our designs with both a sense of aesthetic proportion and a bit of playfulness. Our bags reflect our playful design aesthetic. Slight variations in pattern, color, and texture represent the uniqueness in each Primecut piece. Women Owned. Products made in the USA.

Shy Wolf Candles:
The strike of a match. The light of a candle. Scent that slowly rises. Shuffling your favourite deck until the moment is right. The draw of the cards. Dropping the needle on your favorite LP. Sweet ritual.
With a name inspired by the duality that lives within us all, we believe the small pause that lighting your candle brings is worth honouring; how a small action brings forth a steady, warm light. With fragrance blends as diverse as the folks who burn them, our candles were made for both quiet, sacred moments alone and cozy gatherings with the ones you love most. We have a lot in common with fire.
Our founder Julie wanted to invite others to explore their own passions and memories. To light a fire, draw down the sacred and go within. So she stuck out on her own and began the journey that led to Shy Wolf. She was joined by a fellow firefighter who quickly became her right-hand woman, and not long afterwards they were joined by the rest of our pack.
OUR STUDIO Tucked away in the village of Grey Highlands, Ontario, our studio is surrounded by an empire of forest fed by the waters of the Saugeen. Moved by the raw beauty of our surroundings, we hand-pour each candle in the historic building we call home. They’re sustainably crafted with soy wax, cotton wicks, and a custom blend of natural scents inspired by classic rock and the tarot.
We invite you to light your favourite candle and retreat into your favourite nook, like a wolf coming home to its den. Handmade. Women owned. LGBTQ+ Owned.

All of our fragrance oils are 100% phthalate and paraben-free and all of our essential oils are 100% natural and skin-safe.
The Ceramic Candle Cup vessels are handcrafted by independent (she/her and they/them) artists from across the country. This collaboration creates a beautiful two-for-one product; once the candle is spent, the ceramic container can be used for drinking or home decor.
Our core black glass vessels were selected with sustainability in mind - which allows them to be reused and re-purposed within your life, or, in most areas, these vessels can be cleaned and recycled within your household recycling bins.
In our Hemp infused products, we use only USDA Certified Organic Full-Spectrum Vermont Hemp Co2 Extract. By working with Certified Organic Vermont Hemp farmers and a USDA certified organic hemp processor located in Vermont, we aim to preserve Vermont’s many ecological systems, create and sustain biodiversity, and support our state’s communities, livelihoods, and an adventure-filled way of life.
Every batch of our Hemp products are independently lab-tested for purity so that we know they are free of toxins and heavy metals, and meets our standard of potency and functionality.
The mission for Three Buds Apothecary is simple: create high-quality products and feel confident - and privileged - to share them with our families, our friends and you.
We hope you enjoy using our products just as much as we’ve enjoyed creating them.

Tiny Hooray (formerly Little Goat Paper Co.):
Tiny Hooray creates stationery + gifts for those moments - the ones where we said what you were thinking inside your head, the ones that you just have to get to get it. Life can be full of such dull moments, so we want to help you celebrate the every day fun ones! The tiny hoorays that keep us going each day and keep us connected to our people.
Tiny Hooray is a one woman show, and Beth Roszkowski is the wearer of all the hats at this small but mighty enterprise. All items start with silly, hand drawn doodles and sentiments Beth thinks about while sitting in DC-area traffic. For anyone who has ever been to DC, you know that sitting in traffic here is a great way to kill a lot of time. We hope you look at these products and laugh to yourself as you spy one that makes you think of exactly the right person you just have to give it to because they will *so* get it. Women owned.

Vooguish:
Vooguish was founded on a vision to redefine the every day through quality essentials that stand out. Ali, the founder, had finally brought his vision to reality. He used his background in engineering to create product concepts and soon sought the expertise of Montreal’s creative pool of talent. Unique, quality, and stylish quickly became synonymous with the brand. In 2017, Vooguish added additional product lines and decided to progressively move the manufacturing back to Canada. Ali has set out on the aim of continuously crafting products that are capable of integrating colour and simplicity to anyone's look - all while keeping quality and value in mind. As Vooguish grew, the next step was to consider the social context of our business. Today, the majority of the manufacturing is done locally in Quebec, and $5 from the sale of each backpack is donated to one of our partnered charities. Through our modern product styles, Vooguish believes in providing our customers with the power of giving back.

A NOTE FROM SURYA + DAVE - WHAT WE LEARNED WATCHING OUR OWN CHILDREN GROW...
Did you know that babies develop in so many ways during their first five years that it dwarfs everything they learn over the rest of their lives? Neither did we. Until 2002, when we had our son and studied everything we could get our hands on about babies’ development, that’s when we discovered that…
• newborns can only see as far as 12 to 15 inches away (around the length of your forearm and hand)
• they are most taken with their parents’ faces
• they are drawn to simple but repeating geometric shapes in black and white
• at around 6 months of age, they begin to recognize animal forms, later calling them by name
As a graphic designer with a background in Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, Surya along with Dave who was a teacher, was fascinated by the idea of helping our baby’s brain develop by literally playing with visuals. We built a fun and creative world of animals and nature themes, thoughtfully designed to entertain and educate. We take into account each stage of child development to encourage learning through play. Each of our safe and sustainable learning toys for babies are founded on years of research to support your little one’s growing mind.
As our son used the Art Cards, we discovered…
• as motor skills develop, babies start to grab the cards to look at them
• as you tell stories for each animal, your baby may listen and look, starting to turn the card again and again
• as a baby approaches one year, he or she may carry the cards around, sharing them with you and ask for a story.
Wee Gallery toys and products are safe for babies and children, are made from natural and sustainable materials, and follow ethical standards of manufacturing. Based in the USA.
